Water from the glaciers of the Pico de Orizaba mountain in Mexico is used to bathe these pure Arabica beans, gently coaxing out the caffeine from within the beans. Decaffeinating in this natural and gentle ‘Mountain Water’ process produces a coffee of remarkable quality, which can then be more fully roasted for a dark and astonishingly flavoursome brew. We bring this coffee up a little in the roaster, perfect for espresso drinking. The gentle process produces a coffee of remarkable quality, but most importantly to experienced decaffeinated drinkers - a flavoursome and tasty brew!
