Gunpowder Loose Leaf Tea

This classic Chinese green tea has not only a very distinctive taste but a very unique appearance for each leaf has been rolled into a round pellet resembling its namesake, the explosive material once handled when using a musket. Once brewed the leaves unfurl releasing a light but pungent yellow liquor with a very distinctive full flavour. Refreshing and invigorating, believed to have many health benefits detoxifying the body and lowering cholesterol. Can also be brewed and then chilled, iced and served with either lemon or perhaps mint.
